Sierra oversized | madder root

€330.00

Pure wool jumper hand dyed with madder. A gender-neutral essential, slowly made in Northern Spain. Each color is obtained through artisanal dyeing techniques, extracting pigments from Rubia Tinctorum, a medicinal plant whose roots are used and can only be harvested every four years. This plant has a deep connection with the Mediterranean culture and women's rites around the world. Knitted with our local merino wool from a small extensive livestock farm in “las dehesas”, a holistic system that integrates free-range rearing with the wild natural ecosystem, adopting practices for animal welfare. This garment feels like being hugged by plants. Soft, cozy, toxic free, and durable.

Materials: 100% Spanish merino wool

Dye: Rubia Tinctorum roots

Made in Spain

Note: One piece size L/XL in stock. For other sizes the order will take 2 to 3 weeks to be dyed and shipped. Please note that the shade may vary slightly from the pictures. Natural dyes are sometimes unpredictable and depend on multiple factors that are usually impossible to control. This is the beauty and the surprise of finding each time a unique and unrepeatable result.
