Sierra jumper | cereza

€360.00

Crafted from pure merino wool and hand-dyed with madder root, this jumper is a timeless, gender-neutral piece, carefully made in Northern Spain. Its deep red hue is the result of artisanal dyeing processes, using a high proportion of Rubia tinctorum roots to achieve a luminous, long-lasting color. Madder is a plant belonging to the Gallium family, endemic to the Mediterranean region and also found in parts of India. Historically valued as a medicinal herb connected to women’s health, it has long been associated with femininity and vitality across different cultures. Only after four years of growth do the roots yield their characteristic red pigment. The jumper is knitted with merino wool sourced from a nearby region, raised on a small extensive farming project within the dehesa landscape, where sheep roam freely in balance with the surrounding ecosystem. This holistic approach respects the land and places animal well-being at its core. Wearing this piece feels like being wrapped in color, warm, gentle on the skin, free from toxins, and conceived to endure over time.

Materials: 100% Spanish merino wool

Dye: Madder roots

Made in Spain

Note: Each piece is individually hand-dyed once your order is placed. Please allow around one week for your order to be shipped, depending on our current waitlist. Note that, as each piece is individually dyed, subtle variations in tone may occur compared to the pictures.
